OT- What book are you reading just now and what would you recommend.

Im currently reading The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards which is based in 1960's and about a couple who have a down syndrome baby (I wont say any more as it will give the story away). Im only quite early on in the story but hooked. Its very moving already. It gets really good reviews and based on what Ive read so far Id highly recommend it.

What are you reading and what would you recommend. Im go through spells of reading loads or not at all but like to buy books that others have recommended to me! x

I've started reading Harry Potter (yet again for like the 7th time). I'm up to the chamber of secrets lol.

I'm also reading A Song of Ice and Fire By George R.R Martin and again up to the 2nd book. Just depends on what I'm on the mood for which book I continue reading

Im currently reading Only The Innocent by Rachel Abbott. I only bought it cos it was £1.99 on kindle, which is fairly cheap, and it has good reviews. Its OK. Its keeping me entertained, but i have read better. Its about a very rich man who gets murdered and the police are going through his life with his wife and ex and other people so its like a murder mystery type thing.. Im going to try The Memory Keepers Daughter next, it sounds good, thanks.

I'm reading a Song of Fire and Ice as well but I'm on book four right now. It's a great series!

I'm also reading Toxic Exposures by Phil Brown: http://www.amazon.com/Toxic-Exposure...2415993&sr=8-1 Bodily Matters: The Anti-Vaccination Movement in England, 1853–1907 (Radical Perspectives) by Nadja Durbach: http://www.amazon.com/Bodily-Matters...2416018&sr=1-1 Those two are for class.

Mine is kind of On Topic! I'm reading Tales of a Midwife by Maria Anderson. It's a really good insight into a Midwives training through the 80's up to present day! Really enjoying it

I just finished Matched by Ally Condie, now reading the sequel Crossed. It's different, but I like it. Before this series, I just finished Inheritance from the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini.

I am another reading the Song of Fire and Ice series. I am on book four and put it down for the last couple of weeks because I'm mad at it lol. I've done this with every book in the series, but I really do enjoy them, I just get frustrated because I'm not getting my way lol!

I would say they are worth a read (so far) but very time consuming!

I was a bit late hearing about it but I've just finished reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett and really enjoyed it. About to start Before I Go To Sleep which was highly recommended to me. For an easy read I quite enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy

I'm reading five past midnight in bhopal. It's about different families that went throught the explosion of the union carbide plant. I know it sounds morbid but it's really interesting. I like books that are based on true events.

Although I do also love harry potter and twilight.

Anothrr few good books are;
Blacklands by belinda bauer
dark heart by nick davies
the september of shiraz by dalia sofer
wicked by gregory macguire
dark matter by michelle paver
bitter chocolate by pinki virani
abducted by jacqueline pascarl
not without my daughter by betty mahmoody
baking cakes in kigali by gaile parkin
shantaram by gregory david roberts
arunas story by pinki virani

I'm sitting in front of my bookcase just now browsing my titles lol. Xx
