Pram advice, please help!

Pram advice, please help!

Okay ladies, so I am looking at Prams and really struggling, I know they are a big fashion acessory, but I just can't see it.
I have one pram pushing friend, and whenever I say I like the look of a certain pram, she advises me against it, at first I thought it was because the 'look' was out of date or something, but the more i talk to her about it, it seems its because of the 'type' of person she has seen pushing it.

I think the whole thing is ridiculous, so I am dropping her advice and starting again.

I have what I consider to be a decent budget. So I really need your help in guiding me towards a good pram. I have about £750 to spend (its not a fixed budget, but if its much more than that, its gonna to have to be worth it).

I want one set of wheels that takes a pram, a car seat and a buggy arrangement.
It should come with a footmuff thing, as baby is not due till alot later this year, so will be using it throughout the colder weather.
As a bonus would also have a raincover, changing bag and car seat base (for the car).

I want it to be simple to fold up, and I like the idea of being about to swap which way baby is facing. Either towards me, or away from me.
I like more classic looking prams, so I would prefer a seperate carrycot rather than a buggy seat that turns into the pram with some magic origarmi.

So please please please, can anyone point me towards one that they think would be good.

Hey, I have just bought the iCandy apple which with all the accessories will come to about your price range. It has a separate carry cot and seat, a maxi cosy carseat fixes on it too with the right clips (£30 for clips) and it's Soooo easy to swap each part and put down and up! It was a dream after seeing so many. The only thing that upset me was that you have to buy the "covers" which are £60. You can get the bag and clips to hang your bag with it too. Also the the four wheeler changes into a 3 wheeler so you don't have 2 different types of buggies when going "off road"!

If you do talk to a sales person about this they will try to convert you into buying the newer style which is the strawberry (I think) but when I spoke to our salesperson (she was new and young) she told us that they have had so many returns on broken handles and the buggy getting stuck when trying to put it back up again after letting it down.

I hope I helped. Xx

We purchased super early (just yesterday at 17 weeks 2 days) but we fell in LOVE with the UppaBaby Vista. I don't know all the terminology but it comes with the regular stroller/toddler seat as well as the bassinet. It also comes with a ton of accessories, including a sun canopy. You can also open part of the cover, exposing mesh which allows for a nice breeze for Baby while keeping the bugs out - and it comes with a rain cover, too. The bassinet comes with a removable piece that covers the bottom half or so of Baby. It is a one-step fold, and the handlebar is height adjustable. To add, the bassinet is lined in cotton and soybean fiber - all natural. It is super stylish, too, and I really love it!!! Both DH and I do. It was $699 before tax (USD) so I'm not sure what it would be in EUR. Hopt this helps though!!

PS: It is adaptable to Chicco, Graco, Maxi Cosi and I think one other car seat - you just need to get the right converters.
