when does baby turn to prepare for birth?

I have never felt her above my belly button. And today shes way up there near my ribs. Is she turning already to prepare or what? why all of a sudden is she so high up?

with your first baby they dont usually move into position until your ready to go into labour but with your 2nd or more they can move down weeks early and just hang around there for a while lol, you will feel more movement in different place the further on you get as baby is running out of space and is still trying to do sumersaults lol

i used to hate feet and elbows in the ribs lol this is just the start of it for you lol, it doesnt get painful or anything but its like someone sticking their fingers in your ribs to make you jump , then come the alien movements, oh the joys lol !

Ive already had one alien movement. very minimal. but she shoved something out my belly for about 4 seconds before she dragged it away out the side. And you say it doesnt hurt? I thought it kills your ribs thats why im so worried

My first was bad for sticking her feet in my ribs.
This one (my third) has always been really low down which hurts your cervix at times and gives you spd. but most of my movements till about 29weeks were mostly all down thats cos he was/is breech now hes moved up a bit but couldnt tell you the position. but he was breech for ages and ages

you do feel it but its not like your in agony or anything and usual a quick movement from you moves the baby from doing it lol, it is annoying and like i said feels like when someone pokes your ribs lol i used to rub the bit that was poking out or give it a gentle poke back lol
