Did you feel awful in 1st tri but now feel great in 2nd tri?

Girls, I'm popping over from first tri and am just after a bit of moral support. PLEASE can you tell me that there are girls who are now LOVING second tri but who had a pretty naff time during first tri with tiredness and nausea?

I keep on praying to reach that magical number that means I'm in second tri, simply so I feel healthier and happier.

I remember when I was pg with my son I had a great time in second tri, bounding with energy and eating everything I'd always loved. But this time round, I just don't see it happening - I have no energy at all at the moment (I have left our property twice in the past 12 days, both for medical appointments!), and I feel constantly unwell. PLEASE tell me it will magically improve and one day soon I'll wake up and feel amazing again.

PLEASE!

I feel sooooooo much better. It wasn't until this week that i started to get an appetite again and the constant (at least 2x day) vomiting stopped. Hope you feel better soon.

2nd Tri has been a million times better- I feel happier, and have more energy now than I've ever had! I think the fact I can feel baby moving now has made me happier, I'm always smiling when I get a little kick or nudge!

Definitely! I can actually drag myself up out of bed these days and do things, and stay up past 8pm

It may not happen bang on the date you start 2nd tri, but for most people it DOES happen, just hang in there!

I feel better than I did in 1st tri, still not amazing though. I'm not this blooming and glowing goddess that I thought I would be! Instead of nausea there are a whole host of other things to make you feel crappy, but I would take 2nd tri over 1st tri any day!! Plus this is when you start feeling movements and kicks and find out the gender which makes everything so worth it xx

i didn't quite have the honeymoon second tri period, but def had a better bit. nausea and tiredness faded about week 18 and tiredness and backache are just starting to get the better of me now at 26 weeks. in that middle period i felt heaps better, more energy, no sickness, huge apetite and the added bonus of a nutso sex drive!
hope things get better for you soon, and if you don't suddenly feel awesome at 12 weeks, don't worry, things can still get better...
