Maternity Belly Button Tings

I just put my maternity belly button ring in; my friend said that it's better to do it early, before your belly button get's too shallow/different.

It weirds me out that the belly button ring is so long. I understand why it's so bendy, but does anyone know why it's so long? It's makes me wonder what's going to happen to my belly button later that requires such a long bar.

I've attached a pic, since it looks funny to me. Does anyone else have a maternity belly button ring?

I've never seen one like that but I bet it's that long so your belly can stretch around it, and by the time your bump is full size it will probably look like a regular ring.
I ended up just taking my ring out and I'll re-pierce later if needed.

Hey. I also ordered those and found them to be pretty long. It actually was a tad uncomfortable. So I cut a piece of the flexible part and now it's so much better and looks a lot better too.

you can order a shorter flexible pregnancy belly ring too! That's what I'm wearing. My belly button is already an outie now so it sits diagonal but for now it's still super comfortable! I have a super long one like yours too but haven't worn it and probably won't until way later!

I have one that is that long too. But no idea why it is so big. I think they are designed so they can be cut down to any required length.

I wore my bellybar for a while and then had to take it out. Have a weird harry potter stretch mark above it but it is still open. Will only need to have it reinserted with a needle but most piercers do it at a reduced rate if you had to take it out due to pregnancy. Hehe.
