Since I got pregnant I gained 10 pounds but I weighted myself yesterday and I lost 3 pounds.

They say in a full term pregnancy you gain about 25-30 pounds.
but what happen if you only gain half of it? :S

Everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. It also depends on your weight pre-pregnancy. my first pregnancy I ate like a horse and gained 2st he was premiee at 30 weeks. my second I gained 3 st in total but lost it all without much effort in first year. £rd pregnancy I was overweight before I got pregnant and only gained 15lb through pregnancy and within a week of birth was lighter than when I first got pregnant but as I said everyone is different. Its hard watching the scales go up when you are obsessed with keeping it down but the best advice I can give is "stop weighing yourself" "thats for the doc to worry over not you" "its not your weight its baby weight and the baby is the Midwife and docs worry not yours"

Honestly hun thats not too much at all you may have not put on any one week but your body/baby needed it this week. I put on 5 stone of weight (thats excluding baby!!) with DS2 and lost it all in 8 months so dont worry about weight it can be lost and your baby needs what your baby needs

I have been trying to be good. Luckily I have been completely off of chocolate so I'm not eating that, I usually have cereal or toast for breakfast an apple or banana at break, 4 crispbread with light dairylea and some ham for lunch then my evening meal is either a stir fry with rice or jacket potato or chicken and veg. I have had a mcdonalds this week so maybe it was that! I think I've put about 2/3 inches on my thighs/hips which is weird cos I never put weight on there!

Someone tell me to sort myself out or that this is normal!

I have always been ultra sensitive about my weight and appearance and have been under the docs at about 15 years old because I was so obsessed, I thought I'd got better since meeting my DF but now being pregnant has brought it all back like mad!
I can totally relate! my weight gain to this point had been fairly steady - 4 1/2 kg by 25 weeks. then in the last week i have put on 2kg!!! i don't know how. i feel disgusting! like you i have always had issues with my weight and appearance - i was anorexic as a teenager and have been through periods of overeating and crash dieting. i'm not going to do anything stupid like try and lose weight whilst pregnant, but i am finding it really difficult staying calm imagining my post baby body.

Most will be gone in the first 6 months but a bit will hang on in there

I think that's exactly it I still can't seem to let go of trying to control my weight so closely! I hope it is fluid retention but then is that only going to get worse if I've got 13 weeks left?!
I've gained 21 at almost 27 weeks.
I eat healthy and stay active. That's all I can do. The rest is up to my body and my baby. I trust it to do what it needs.

I have gained about 18 or 19 lbs so far. My doctor says it is normal but does worry me a little. I am staying active though and doing the best I can in what I eat so really I guess I shouldn't let it worry me too much. I drink a ton of water, though so do know some of it is water...and in my boobs haha don't be too strict in what you eat...a lot of times if you are craving something, it is your bodies way of telling you it needs it. All in moderation of course haha I heard in 3rd tri that weight gain should slow down some! I have noticed that my thinking about my weight all the time is not slowing down the gain so decided to try to relax a little and just keep doing the best I can.

Sorry for the long reply. It sounds like you are doing fine with gain...18 lbs doesn't really seem that ad when you think about all your body is doing right now and the little baby growing!

You really have not gained that much. At my 28 week appointment I had gained 20 lbs. Some weeks you will put on more weight, some weeks you will put on less. But I wouldn't worry.(:
As for your wedding, every woman is DIFFERENT and every woman loses weight differently. Sometimes it takes up to a year, some women lose it within a few weeks/months. Eating right and working out after baby comes will help, also eating right while pregnant will help to lose the baby weight faster. I definitely think you'll be able to lose your baby weight by your wedding.(: don't stress too much hun, its not good for the baby. Stay away from the scales for a little while and just focus on baby, not your weight. (:
