TMI; UGLY and ITCHY NIPPLES :(

TMI.... but my nipples are so ugly, dry and crusty.

First sign of pregnancy for me was my nipples growing darker and bigger, now they itch like crazy. I itch any and everywhere ladies, its horrible. I feel like an animal with no shame LOL! Anyone else going through this? I try putting lotion everyday but they are so dry that they absorb it right away and go right back to being really flaky and dry.

I'm hoping they will go back to normal after the pregnancy but until then what can I use to keep them from itching as bad as they do?

OMG thats me! but I was too embarresed to post, lol. My nipples are so itchy, I've got my hands down my top when I'm driving and fidgeting about when I'm out and about, lol. I've tried loads of creams and lotions and nothing really works. Nothing I use stops the flaking neither. If you find something that works please post and update us x

Hi,
I've had this too, and apparently it's eczema I've never had it before in my life, even in my 3 previous pregnancies, and after my nipples i got it in my cleavage and on my neck! I have been using E45 and a cream called Diprobase, and its cleared up completely on my neck and nearly almost gone on my boobs, lol. Hope this helps xxx

Poor you dear!!

I thought my nips were horrid but yours sounds so painful. Maybe your OBGYN can give you an RX strength cream to clear it???

*rasies hand*
Itchy nipples has been my worst symptom. It gets SOOOO bad and irritating sometimes. Thankfully I'm at home most of the day so I can just scratch til I can't any longer lol.
Sometimes they're flaky, sometimes they're not. Hate it when they're dry though bc my lotion doesn't work. I'll have to look in to getting some nip lotion as well.

I have had this problem since the beginning. My nipples arent that big but they sure are itchy. I use vaseline. It makes my bras all gross, but it helps so who cares if my bras have a dark spot in the middle if its helping right?

This afternoon, I scratched them and I squirted myself in the face...first time that happened it was oh so disgusting.

Try the vaseline. It's cheap and it works. I would try that before I bought something else because well why not right? It works for my eczema which I have bad, and really does moisturize. Hope it helps
