Do you ever get little electric shock feelings on your bump if you press it?

Sometimes if I bang into something or am pressing my tummy trying to feel my babies I get a jolt of shock/pain that feels like an electric shock! Its mainly when I press and get a hard area of my bump.
Or sometimes if I strain too much to sit up fast or something.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?

logical explanation would be that u are pressing against nerve endings hence the jolt of pain although before i knew i was preg my OH was getting actual electric shocks from me and apparently its quite common.

YES!!! I know what you mean! Very odd feeling

I can handle the electric shock ones, but the ones that I hate are when I cough or move too quickly & I get an awful sharp stab Not liking those at all.

I too had this at like 18wks till 23wks it was the strangest thing, when I asked the nurse about she looked kinda puzzled but stated it was the LO kicking a nerve. And thankfully I don't expercience that sensation anymore. You look awesome I can't believe your carrying TWINS, CONGRATS!!!

I had this several times too. Hasn't happened in weeks though. It sounds normal.

Same feeling here

I'm expecting twins and I actually had the same electric shock just a few seconds ago. I was standing in the kitchen rubbing my baby bump, and kind of smoothed over the hard part of my bump to see if i could feel them kick. Then I felt the electric shock, kind of felt like someone was rubbing their feet on the carpet to build up that electricity and shocked me. But only the shock was about 9 times stronger than the static shock. This is the third time I've felt this kind of shock, but this time it made me scream cause it was stronger. Not sure what this is or what is causing this
