Painful lower back/hip pain has anyone else had this?

Hi all, so here's my problem, in the past I've experienced lower back pain but it was probably twice a year and I put it down to a pinched nerve. Now in my second trimester it's become a constant problem, it starts with a slight ache on my right side around my tail bone close to the two dents you have on ur lower back and travels down my right leg, I have now found that once the pain gets going it restricts my movement causing excruciating pain. This happens now every night when I am lay flat and the pain when i try to move makes it physically impossible for me to even roll over and my leg feels as if it is paralysed I had to get my partner to literally roll me on to my side last night as I was in tears trying to move. Has anyone else had this problem is so what was ur remedy any help is appreciated xxxx

Funny you should post this, I have the same thing!
I was in tears last night it was so bad, and I dont cry in pain.
I ended up propping my belly up with pillows and one between the knees which easeed it enough to get to sleep.
I went to the doctors this morning, and she thinks its just muscles pulling and stretching as its only really bad at night. It might be worth just popping to the docs to get checked out x

yes seems dull and tight during the day, and come 6pm in the evening its agony.
Mind you tonight its a bit better. I have made sure that I have sat up straight and propped up by pillows all day and it seems to have worked.
I am going to invest in a body pillow for sleeping, as the bed is just full of pillows at the moment. Poor OH last night had to sleep on the edge, as when I found a comfy position I just happened to be in the middle and he didnt want to move me - bless him.
I would drop a call to your midwife or gp tomorrow to be on the safe side, as they are also testing me for an infection in case its gone to my kidneys x

Well the midwife didn't seem too interested in my problem and blamed it on hormones, I think if it does carry on I'll have to go see the doctor cant put up with this everyday for another 5months lol xxx
