Confused about when to buy!?!

When did you guys buy your crib?

we found one we really like, its on sale, and its under $200 with a changing table.

I like to be prepared and my husband is last minute...

also can someone recommend a book about breastfeeding for me?

I would like to give it a shot even though I will be pumping.

I've bought our crib already because it was exactly what we wanted and half price, I knew I would never see it at that price again so I had to get it. If you've seen what you want at a good price go for it!

I haven't found a great book on breast feeding yet, so it will be good to know what others have read.

When to buy is up to you. Some like to wait until after 20wks. We bought when we saw offers as we knew we'd be having a child at some point even if things went wrong this time. For what it's worth with dd 1 we bought pram at 8 wks as it was on offer and co at about 19 weeks as it had £50 off and it was the only one we'd seen we liked and agreed on.

As for bf book. I wouldn't waste the money. Use the net and breast feeding support workers/groups are the best source of info

i would buy anytime i had the money and seen a great deal! It may not be there in a week or so, so as long as your sure its what you want then go for it! The last thing you want is to be waddling around at 30+ weeks stressed out and shopping lol x

I would buy the crib now!

I have only bought a few bits and pieces like sleepsuits and a sling, some nappies etc

Holding out until my 20 week scan so that we can buy some blue/pink things!

Am fed up of buying gender neutral! But if it's at a good price buy it

If it's a really good price just go ahead and buy it now. We've already bought our pram because it was too good a deal to pass up. I don't believe in tempting fate so just buy things when you want to

Im currently just over 22 weeks and OH and I have brought most things for the baby. We have just order all our nursery furniture so all we have left to get is the bedding and a pushchair. I get paid weekly so have been buying everyweek since the start of my pregnancy. Ive done it like that so it doesnt cost me so much in one go but it's totally up to you. Im also not finding out the sex so I knew from the start it was going to be all creams and whites for me x

we decided we are going to go friday and go to the stores and search around for stuff! A little nervous for no reason lol. but YAY.. thanks guys, looks like ill be buying the crib here soon with the next pay check.
