I thought I started feeling movement around 16/17 weeks and now I feel definite movement from about a week ago, so I'd say 18 weeks! I guess it also depends on your size?

it also depends on where your placenta is. my placenta is posterior (in the back) so i felt his first karate chop at 16 weeks and he's been moving regularly since 18 weeks. i've been feeling/seeing him move from the outside since 22 weeks.

Size doesn't matter when it comes to feeling movement from the inside. I mean, the baby's kicking inside of you, why on earth would extra fat prevent YOU from feeling it?

I felt flutters at 15 weeks and a couple of for sure kicks at 18 weeks, but only when I was laying really still, and I'm a LOT larger than you! Try laying on your left side and just concentrate on what's going on with your body. If you still don't feel anything, don't worry. Some babies are less active than others. I've read stories about karate chops from 16 weekers, and little flutters from 20 weekers.

Otherwise, just wait a few weeks and you'll be feeling LO non-stop!
