confused!

hi i am new to this page and was woundering if someone could give me some advice... i am 20 weeks pregnant today when did i concive?

my last partner and i slept together on the 19th november but i had slept with my partner b4 him only few days b4. i never had a full period while with the ex
i bleed for 1 -2 days in novemeber and that was it, not a normal period for me at all.
my 12 week scan gave me a edd of 22nd aug 2012 which would take me bck to 16/11/11 is that when i concieved or are the saying this was my last period? i know that i was def not bleeding then,
I am really confused about it all and unsure how it works,

who could b the father?

any advice would be helpfull thanks

Didnt ur midwife give u a edd when u had ur 1st appointment?? the scan is the most accurate reading, so id go by that, but the only way ull know is doing a paternity test once the little 1 is here. My scan reading was 2 days difference to the calculations from my last period, so not much in it.x

Well I know for a fact that I concieved 20th November (DH's birthday) and ovulated a few days later.
I am just over 21 weeks.

So if you are 20 weeks then you will have concieved around 25th November

at first appointment with midwife she gave me a edd of 15th aug. i thought the 12 week scan would give me a clearer asspect to who the dad may be as i know they say that all babys grow same rate up untill12 weeks
would there b any chance of the ex that i slept with 19/11/11 to b the dad concidering i never had a proper period with him? as i said i bleed for 1-2 days in november and that is not like me at all. i do suffer with loss of blood while preg so could i have already been a week or so preg? CONFUSED!!!!

In all honesty either could be the father. Your.going to need to get a DNA test.

If you are 20 weeks pregnant now (according to your estimated due date) then you should count back 18 weeks to work out roughly when you conceived, not 20 weeks. This is because they count pregnancy as being 40 weeks from the last period but we ovulate about two weeks after (on average -every one is different) our period starts.

So....by my reckoning your conception date is around the 30th November rather than the 16th...

I should say, however, that dates can be a few days out though. I'm 21 weeks today (according to my dating scan) and so should, according to this, have conceived on the 23rd November. I know I didn't ovulate until the 26th though so my dates are a few days out...

as already said the only thing you can do is get a DNA test. Not every woman ovulates around the 14th day. It might have happend earlier or later for you

My due date is August 29th. Doctor said my conception date was probably around December 7th. So your date of conception would probably be around December 1st will a fairly normal cycle.
