Everyone treats pregnant women like crap all the time and if you have kids with you no one cares either.

It's kinda like when you tell your family that your pregnant again and all they do is blow it off like there's nothing special going on.

Tell me about it. In London for the tube you can wear the badge to let people know your pregnant, and there are special chairs for those who are pregnant or elderly. To get one of those chairs you literally have to scavenge. I've had people who have seen me and soon put their heads down to the ground. My OH gets angry but I just say a bit loud "if I faint from not sitting then the whole train goes out of service, and if people don't have the decency to not be asked/forced off their chair well f** them"
I've had women lurk around me on buses as if I should give them my chair. as soon as I ask them out right and they see the bump they soon vanish lol

People seem to be far to wrapped in themselves and think they are all owed something. Ive only ever needed to sit in the last 2wks since being pregnant and I'm not that big, bump wise, so seems I also get judged on the bump size.

The mothers just look the other way or, worse, glare at me like they dare me to complain! I'm not afraid of a little bump but on a few occasions now I've almost fallen and that does give me a fright.
Ive had a couple of blokes bump past me too, apparently I waddle too slow for their liking and the only time I have been helped with my shopping trolley in the carpark was by a woman
I've been knowcked and fallen into rails of clothes or handbags, people look but say nothing, it's like they want you to fall and watch waiting for it to happen rather than run to your rescue... we have no balance being preggers! Everytime I end up shouting and crying! Sometimes it really hurts me too

I remember those seats from when I used to travel around london when I used to live in the UK, I never sat in one incase a preggers lady or elderly person came on board, I actually felt like I would be doing something really bad if I did. I remember offering my seat to preggers ladies on the tube and feeling sorry for them as the tube is a rough ride sometimes isn't it! It terrifies me at the thought of hanging onto those bars and being swung around... stay safe hun

I don't understand it, I'd be so embarassed if I bumped or hurt someone by accident but some people seem empowered by it, or find it amusing that their kid is being a terror!

I have a one hour commute to and from work every day. Coming home in rush hour there is often not enough seats on the train. People are happy to leave me standing, even though i am quite clearly pregnant and tired. I would never dream of doing this.

One elderly gentleman gave me his seat. i felt i was no more deserving of it than him, but he insisted. I amost cried.

Awww what a nice man, I would feel the same lol. The elderly generation are so helpful compared to the rest.

When other peoples kids act like this it makes me even surer of what kind of mother I hope to be and how I will bring up my kids

It's horrible, and to think the amount I pay to get in and around London on the tube. Shocking. ha I've been holding onto the OH as will only travel rush hour with him, saves a load of problems.
I'm hoping people are a bit more considerate within the next few weeks, as I have to travel into London for the MW every 2 weeks from next month
