Silvercross balmoral pram xxx

Hey ladies just wondering if any of you
Ladies are having a huge pram for your
Little one?
I've bought a vintage navy blue silvercross
Balmoral
It's just beautiful and I've got a lovely
Hand knitted blanket too so looks
Very traditional :-)
Now I'm just worrying how I'l get it
In and out of shops lol
It's mainly for walks tho
We live right next to a riverside park
I have another smaller silver cRoss
For trips out ect
Just wondering what everyone's thoughts
On coach built prams are???
Thanks ladies xxxxxxx

I love the look of them but could never have one because we live in a tiny flat on the 4th floor...just not practical at all

My mum still has my old pram in her house, don't know what brand it is, but it's a pretty big traditional one in beige tweed! so we'll be using that for walks when we're over there.

have fun with it, I'm sure it'll be great for going to the park.

Before I got pregnant I REALLY wanted the Silver Cross Balmoral (or Kensington! hehe)! We found a local stockist (who actually had the Balmoral out on display) and when I saw it, I just thought...it's beautiful, but too big! We don't really live in walking distance of places to go for walks (and as you say, you wouldnt be able to take it in to shops) We are National trust members, so we'd be taking the LO out for walks all the time, but there is not a chance in hell of fitting even the Balmoral chassis into my Ford Ka! lol!

In the end we went for the Silver Cross Linear Freeway, which is still nice and sturdy, but just more practical for us!

I guess if money was unlimited, I'd get the Balmoral just to take the baby for a walk around the garden! lol! It's a stunning pram, and I'm sure you'll get good use out of it!

i love this pram. love, love, love it! Don't even need to look at a picture as I know exactly the one you mean. I would have loved to have this pram but hubby took one look and said no way, it will never fit in the car. And we have a big car!!! Its just not practical for us.

But if you can make it work for your life, perhaps get a smaller preferably cheap pram for places where the big one is impractical, then hell yeah! Go for it!!

In the end i got a churchill / hesba pram with white wheels and silver chasis. Very traditional in style, but more mdest in size, though a bit bigger than most prams. Very heavy though!! Even in the summer I had a proper traditional canopy over it, not the parasol you usuall see.

I can't wait to get it out again in August!!!

Ps - very jealous if you do get it

sorry, just noticed your answer there...

no, I've not felt much movement yet either. I've had a couple of little bubbles, but I can't be sure it's baby...not really sure what I'm looking for. My midwife asked me last week if I had felt any movements yet (more in a small talk kind of way...not to tick any boxes) and when I said no she made a point of telling me not to worry, and that she never felt any movement herself until much later. I've also got an anterior placenta, so that might have something to do with it.
Anyway, as long as you don't have any cramps or bleeding, you'll be absolutely fine, so try not to worry. I'm the same as you though...this time between feeling sick all the time and first proper movements is just killing me!
