I assume this is a normal thing but the last few days I have been having these period like cramps and I haven't had anything like them since around week 8 when my round ligament pain took over. I am feeling the baby move a ton these last two days so I am assuming its just Braxton Hicks and things stretching from little one growing.
They are not constant, don't last long, not accompanied by anything else. I also put my hand on my uterus and sometimes its feels firm but most of the time it's soft.
My baby book scared me when I read it this afternoon and I just need to hear what I think I already know
Sounds a lot like my braxton hicks contratctions. I did ask my dr yesterday if they could be painful (as I had one last week to stop me in my tracks) and he told me yes but as long as they weren't happening too often then it is totally normal.
Hey i noticed period type pains at 18weeks too and they said it was just stretching pains, which can feel different. braxton hicks feel different to stretchy pains though they are normally quite mild at that stage and feel like tightning in your lower tummy.
I thought Braxton Hicks as well since I have had a few but nothing tightened when it happened. So stretching pains it is. I felt little one move a ton yesterday too so it eased my nerves, lol. Thanks ladies

I thought that too but I was totally normal this week. I still drank some extra juice yesterday to help move things along

Nope no bleeding, and it was low exactly like a period cramp.
I have had period like cramps all the way through my pregnancy, now at 22 weeks im still getting them and sometimes can be on and off all day. But heartbeat is fine all scans have been fine and im now feeling her move everyday, so i suppose its just one of those things. Annoying tho as i thought i wouldnt feel these cramps for 9 months and have a break from them LOL!
