normal to measure ahead?

So I had my 22 week appointment today(will be 22 weeks tonorrow) anyways, my fundal height is measuring at 24 weeks. Is it normal to measure ahead and have it even out down the road? Or could it be a sign of gestational diabetes? I have my "20 week" ultrasound on the 17tg and will be almost 24 weeks when i have it. So my doctor just said we will wait and see what that shows. I also have my glucose test the first week of may, but am just curious if anyone knows anything?

I never had this with my DD so its new to me

Thanks!

With my first pregnancy I measured at least 2 weeks ahead the whole time and there was absolutely nothing to worry about!

Thanks ladies. I think I was just worrying myself over GD. I talked to my mom and she said shd meqsured a few weeks ahead with me and I evened out measurment wise a bit later.

I think it was more my doctors reaction that got me. She seemed a little thrown by it. Oh well! I guess I will just have to be patient and wait for my scan and Glucose test. Yuck! Lol

Completely normal. The fundal height is measured 1 cm = 1 week so the difference is only 2 cm!

its not a big deal honey. alot of babies even out later on. my baby was behind almost a week at 6 weeks and when they measured again at 9 weeks he/she had caught up.
my baby actually weighs a bit more than he/she would on average. just 0.2 ounces more and my doc said that babies are funky that way. they decide how to do things and it works out in the end.
