My husband and I are mulling over a short list of names. I'd love some feedback from you thoughtful ladies, it would really help me process it all. I don't intend to share the name with friends and family until it's solidly decided, and/or the baby is born, so I feel like I'm making the decision in a vacuum. Here are the names, along with the probable middle name Marie (which is the middle name of both grandmas-to-be), and our last name, Rose: Eloise Marie Rose (nickname Lola) Olivia Marie Rose (nickname Olive) Zelda Marie Rose Zulia Marie Rose I love Olivia, but I'll admit that I've all but given it up after reading a very compelling opinion online as to why it's just too popular. Zulia was my great grandmother's name, FYI. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!  |

Our dd is called Eloise. I think it's a beautiful, femanine name - obviously  We get lots of comments on how pretty the name is, how it's not off the wall unusual yet very uncommon. Olivia was a contender for us too but was just too well used for our liking. If im honest zelda just makes me think of a gameboy game. Zulia is very unusual but it's a bit too unusual for my tastes. Hope that doesn't offend |
