Very true ... Lol babies come when there ready! I like to plan ... But maybe I'll have to be more relaxed about this...

Yeah be nice for me to have my mum there a couple of weeks before but not so sure how my other half will take it!! My brother lives down the road so maybe she could stay there for a week ... But his wife might not appreciate that .. I can't win lol

Hi,

My mom lives in Spain as well and I had exactly the same dilemma when I was expecting my first. In the end we decided to book her flight on the same day I was due. We both decided if he was to come early then we'd have to deal with it. Luckily he was 12 days late!! We now have the dilemma of our second baby due in August and mom is already asking me when she should book her flight again!

Sorry not much help really but just wanted to let you know what we did!

Ok I'm still no closer lol ... Maybe I should of done a poll. Thinking I may book her a ticket a week before due date and leave the ticket open. Just take the gamble I'm not really early!

I know everyone has already said it but everyone is different. I thought looking at family history might tell me when my baby would come but i was wrong. Every baby has been a week late & I thought I my baby would be too. I ended up working till 38+1 weeks thinking i would have a nice 3 weeks to myself to relax & prepair for the baby. Yeah well he decided to come at 38+6 weeks & i was soo shocked. So you really do not know when they will come.

I no what ever I decide it's going to be a gamble .... Its my mums first grandchild maybe I should play it safe .. I'm due 21st august , so might be good if she comes 2 weeks before . At least then she could go visit her brothers etc and still be close by if baby comes early
