2nd try at finding out gender tomorrow, anyone else had baby not co-oporating?

Hey everyone, very excited hopefully going to find out what having tomorrow Just praying baby will cooporate this time and wont be awkward! We had a 3d scan on Saturday and while it was amazing to see baby in 3d was left a bit dissapointed as baby was asleep with legs crossed and had cord in the way so she couldn't tell us what it was so hopefully baby will be awake and bouncing around tomorrow. Think will have some sweets and a fizzy drink on the way in the hope might waken it up. Has anyone else had problems with baby being asleep or legs crossed? Did you get to find out at another scan? Or did anyone else have any suagary things before scan?

I'm trying not to get too excited just incase I wind up dissapointed again tomorrow, but it's really hard not to xxxx

Sorry your first scan didn't work out!

I have my scan in a couple hours and I'm mortified that baby will be asleep! I really really want to know the gender! I've had a latte already and will bring some ice cold water and a chocolate bar with me, just in case.

I know my baby usually sleeps in the afternoon so I'm doing my best to keep it awake.

I'll let you know if it works.

I had the opposite problem with my oldest. I went in for my 20 week scan and the tech asked if I wanted to know the gender. I said yes and as soon as she put the little wand on my belly, there it was! Then she kept trying to get pictures of his organs and all that, but he kept moving so we could see his little pee-pee. At one point she told him, "Yes we know you're a boy, now stop because I need to see your heart."

I hope LO cooperates this time. Wishing you the best of luck.

Just got back from my scan and baby's legs were crossed!!
I moved over and drank cold water and jumped up and down but no-go!
We took up 40 minutes when the appointment was supposed to be 15. Haha.
The tech said its not gonna work and come back next week. I was so sad...

Then the baby unwrapped it's legs and tada! It's a girl!
Baby definitely wasn't sleeping but she was so stubborn!

So good luck with yours! Seems like its just luck and I really hope your baby will cooperate. I get how devastating it is to leave without an answer.

I've had two scans now and both times baby was sleeping with legs crossed. First time I was told it was probably a boy, second time probably a girl!!! I've got another scan in a few weeks so will definitely drink something fizzy just before because at the moment it hits me a thump everytime I have a frizzy drink, fingers crossed it works.
