Feeling sad...about a buggy of all things!!

I know its really quite pathetic but I had my heart set on a Bugaboo Donkey so I went this morning to have a second look and asked to try it in my boot. It doesnt fit (no matter which way around) by about an inch

Dear Lord, I know how ridiculous this sounds!! Its just I will absolutely need a double buggy and I cant seem to find one without having to majorly compromise on something or other, and the thought of pushing around something heavy/bulky/ugly is just so...

Its not like i'll even be putting it in the boot all that often, and even less often when all the seats are filled but even I cant justify a pram that wont fit in the car when my family are in there too

Looks like the search will have to continue...or maybe I could divorce the hubby and free up some room??? Now theres a thought....

Can any pieces be removed easily to give you that extra inch? Or can you fit it in the tear seat between or next to the car seats?

I will be putting mine in the boot upright, just need to remove the parcel shelf! maybe that would work for you?

I told my boyfriend if we can't get the one we picked for some reason, I WILL cry, so I know how you feel

Haha I don't drive but my mum will have the babies whilst I'm at work... I bought a 20 pound double from an nct sale for the car! It's massive and there's no way it's going in the boot lol but so pretty! What colours is everybody getting? I'm thinking sand base red hoods...

The pram we got last time didn't fit in our boot without taking the wheels off, they were quick release though so it wasn't too awkward. Still got the pram.

I had a similar problem with my triple stroller. My boys are all back-to-back, so I figured a triple stroller would be great. We had a full-size van at the time so we could fit the stroller in it, but I couldn't fit it in the apartment we were living in. Plus it was so heavy, I had a hard time getting it up and down the stairs. (apartment was on second floor) I got in the habit of just leaving it in the van and getting my husband to get it out for me before he went to work if I planned on going somewhere, but half the time I forgot and just used the double and had my oldest walk. He would get in the middle of the stroller, on the edge of the baby's seat if we had to cross the busy street like to get to McDonald's or something.

We were going to get this too but my 16mth old was too small for the seat unit so TBH i had to admit it would be a waste of money.

Try the P and T Promenade. The seats are huge and there is masses of space and easily fits in the boot! We are getting this after trying LO out in them all!

We took off everything that could be removed. It was literally about an inch too but there was no way it was goin in there.

We have a 7 seater so most of the time (when the eldest 3 girls are at school) id be able to arrange the seats so there'd be plenty of room. Once my son arrives in July all 7 seats will be accounted for and although we're not always all in the car at once I cant really buy a buggy that wont fit. I could justify a struggle but not it not fitting at all.

Thanks hun. x

Its sad but I really felt like crying!! It really ticked all the boxes...well, except the 'does it fit in your boot' box!!

We have a 7 seater (no parcel shelf...or boot space, grrr) so most of the time, when the eldest 3 are at school, it wouldnt be a problem. But when the little dude arrives all 7 seats will be taken and there wont be any extra room. Seriously sad face!

Thanks hun, you made me feel less pathetic about getting upset over a pram x
