Phil and Teds Promenade. It is the best that we have tried. Wanted the Donkey but the seat is too small for our daughter.

http://philandteds.com/products/push...de#_eightinone

The second seat can lie flat, has the same seat capacity as the main unit and both seats easily convert to a pram. No drasted pneumatic tyres either-hated them.

After getting through 11 expensive buggies with my daughter-as she is too big for most and i am picky, hubby wants me to stop at one this time. he can hope for the best.

Had a Mothercare My3 for my first baby and it was a great pram as it had a big carry cot (all my friends who had Icandy/Quinny etc had to switch to the buggy mode far sooner than we did), could be parent or forward facing, the maxi cosi car seat could clip onto the frame, it had big air filled tyres so was a comfortable ride for LO, wasn't mega expensive... but on the other hand it was a giant pain in the a**e to get in and out of the car as I had to put the carry cot in the back of the car, take all three wheels off and squeeze them into the boot beside the chassis.

We changed to a Micralite Fastfold when LO was around 10 months old. It folds up in an umbrella fold. The only thing I don't like about it is that the cosytoes doesn't fasten to anything so as you sit LO in the buggy it goes down and you kind of have to lift the whole thing up (including LO) by the straps to put it back in place. It is perfect for when he wants to walk as it's so light and can easily be pushed along with one hand.

We were going to use the My3 with a buggy board when this baby arrives but it's just too big and heavy with the buggy board and I wouldn't be able to push it, and let my son walk at the same time as it's too hard to push with one hand. It's also awkward to push with a buggy board on it so we are going to sell the My3.

We have bought the carrycot for the Micralite. It comes with adaptors to put the carrycot on, and you can use the same adaptors to put the Maxi Cosi on it too. It is so light to push, even with a buggy board on it and it means my son can go on the buggy board or can walk and I will still be able to push the pram too. It is also really easy to switch between the carrycot and the buggy so I can decide before we leave the house/car whether to put my son in the buggy and LO in a sling/LO in the pram and my son on the buggy board. This is it:

We also bought a Mclaren Twin Techno for £50 from Ebay but it looks like new so I can use that for days out/if we are in a rush/we will be out around nap time as it can be used with the head huggers in lie flat position from birth.

I have seen it, it looks cool. Not something I would have as it seems made for taller people than me as LO is very high up in it.
