Midwife appointment - didn't go well

I had midwife today, it didn't go well.

I got severe pre eclampsia last pregnancy so being monitored closely.

My blood pressure was sky high when I went in and it went down slightly after 10 mins, she almost sent me off to the hospital.

I have consultant next week and she said i might be given medication ( I'm already taking asprin)

It's just made me worry, I'm only 16 weeks and my blood pressure is creeping up.

On the bright side, I heard baby's heartbeat and that was strong and healthy and I've been feeling kicks the last few days

I feel low :/ x

Don't feel low, sometimes we can't control what our body does and lord know pregnancy tells you that! Worrying will make your blood pressure worse so try, I know it's hard, but try and relax. You're in capable hands with your midwife and doctors, let them worry for you

X
