Anyone else's family members trying to name your child? - Page 4

I surprisingly haven't gotten any opinions from the in-laws, but I think they were so excited that I decided to use MIL's maiden name (which is DH's middle name) as the baby's middle name.

When I chose my wedding location and paid my deposit, I kept getting constant emails of possible places from MIL. I just ignored them. But she is really passive aggressive and kept telling me she loved the place I picked, and then she would email me a new place again! ugh lol.

I hate this name issue!!! (BTW: Rayne Kara Smith is a BEAUTIFUL name!!)

My OH and I decided pretty early on what names we wanted for if its a boy or if its a girl, and his family reacted so vehemently against the names that this past weekend when they asked if we'd decided on names yet he simply told them "Nope!" -- I am hoping he hasn't begun to rethink the boy name (the one that drew the most ire) because he picked that one and all of the components had very special meaning... I fully support his decision and when I try to rearrange the names in my mind, it no longer makes sense. For now though I'm happy to simply say we haven't decided on any names yet.
