Need help getting protein in diet!

Today my doctor told me I'm not getting enough protein, and this is causing my blood sugar problems in the mornings.
I have some natural protein bars made from nuts, and I try to eat eggs when I have time to cook them in the mornings... But I'm so tired of those nut bars and eggs don't work when I over sleep.
I just run out of ideas. What are some great protein rich foods that I could make in a hurry for breakfast?

Hm. What I do is boil like a dozen eggs and keep them in the fridge. That way I have a quick anack or can make an egg salad sandwhich.. But idk if youd like to eat hard boiled eggs for breakfast.. I think peanut butter is a good one for protien.. So maybe toast with peanut butter and jelly? Um yogurt (can add granola nuts or fruit)..

Seeds and nuts - try sunflower butter! Or keep some healthy cereal at work for days you are running late. I eat kashi go lean which is really high in protein xxx

I second peanut butter with anything. You could make some sort of egg casserole so all you have to do it warm it up...any kind of nuts, almonds are good

I have problems getting protien in so I make smoothies out of Carnation Instant Breakfast which has twice the protien in it with frozen fruit and milk.
