can you pay for a gender scan at nhs ?

i was just wondering if you can pay for a gender scan at an nhs hospital and if yes does anyone know how much it costs? I just want double check gender lol and also my oh missed all my scans due to work so he hasnt even seen baby yet apart from pics or heard heartbeat. Its too expensive for us to go to babybond or places like this so just wondered if the nhs was cheaper if they even do it?

Some NHS trusts do private scans to make extra money. I know mine does in Nottingham. You will have to check with your hospital.

When I went for my 12 week scan last week, there was a notice at reception to say they were doing private scans - it listed all the different options. I didn't look at it in depth because I already had a private one.
That was in Epsom in Surrey.
Definitely worth a phone call

The one in Newcastle does but its well over £100, do you not have a local babybond hun? they are brill x

where i live the hospital wont tell you the gender at all, so i paid £80 to find out privately x
