I actually had that same feeling you described as something sliding across your abdomen last week. i told my DH that it felt like someone traced their finger along my tummy but from the inside.

yesterday and today i've been feeling pops and bloops. i've found that in the afternoon when i'm drinking ice water and sitting still at my desk i feel more activity. i have yet to feel anything while laying down except to watch TV on the couch.

i'm a US size 14 so i have some extra padding around my tummy anyway so i don't expect to feel anything constant for a while.

good luck!
Yeah thats exactly what it felt like for me too, maybe it was the baby changing positions or something.

Actually just 10 mins ago whilst sitting at the comp I felt a few pulsey feelings right in the middle of my lower abdomen which I think may have been baby. They have gone now but I've heard from a few people on here that icy cold drinks are supposed to stimulate movement too so I might give that a try.
i feel my little one kick all the time now and what does it manily is fizzy pop. she bloody goes wild lol. i was at the diabetes check test yesteday and drank that glucose drink omg she went berserk lol sugar drunk i think - i could see my stomach moving and everything!

I thought I'd felt baby a couple of times from about 16 weeks. It was a really weird sensation, can't even describe it really. A bit like popping I guess. I'm 18+5 now and a UK size 16/18 and haven't felt anything at all in about a week. I'm trying not a worry about it but it's hard not to. I know the baby is still so small it could be a in a million positions that would make it impossible to feel movement.

I feel better reading this though, hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll feel some definite movement. I thought all the worry would be gone after my 12 week scan, how wrong was I lol... Ohh well only 14 more sleeps till the 20 week one

Oo I feel better for reading this. I think I've had popping and the same feeling of something moving against my stomach but no definite feeling yet. I'm a 16/18 so wondered if that was a factor to. Will hopefully start feeling baby soon!
