First time mums - When did you start feeling baby move?

Hey Everyone

Im 18+3 today and still not really felt any movements

I felt something just over a week ago which felt like a little (but strong) pulse down on the left hand side of my abdomen, only lasted 2 secs then it was away & I'm about 95% sure it was baby I felt but I've not really felt anything since.

I know I need to be patient and I'm a little chubby as well (uk size 16) and I know that can have an affect on when you feel baby too, it's just because everyone in work keeps asking me if I'm feeling baby yet and it's making me feel like I should be feeling it now.

I read in my pregnancy book that obviously baby is more active whilst I'm asleep so I may not always be aware of it moving but sometimes you can encourage movement by lying down and putting on music. Anyone tried that?

When did all you other first time mums start feeling baby?

I think I felt it about an hour ago! Had a popping sensation for a couple of seconds down in the right hand side of my lower belly. I'm 15+2 so know that's quite early but I have not felt anything like that so far!!

I'm in the same boat, a first time mum at 18+1 and felt a few 'bubbly' feelings but nothing certain. I'm a size 12/14 and have always carried weight round the middle and would be interested to hear other experiences too.

I'm 16+1 (ticker is wrong) and I think I felt baby yesterday, like a twitching in my lower right abdomen. I've not felt it today though.

My mw said it's usually about 19-20 weeks but I felt "popping" at aroung 14 weeks, got proper movements from 16-17 weeks but they were never in a pattern and were days apart

My bub moved a couple times a day that I felt reliably from about 17 weeks.....although he's been measuring six days ahead at each scan.
