Don't feel pregnant anymore! Help!

Hi ladies,

I am 15 weeks and 4 days and for the last couple of weeks I just haven't felt pregnant at all! I had a lot of sickness early on which stopped at 10 weeks, I also stopped feeling tired then and my boobs are not sore at all anymore. I feel like all the pregnancy feeling I had is totally gone now apart from my belly getting bigger but I am scarred that that is just fat as I have been allowing myself to eat a lot more.

Is anyone else feeling the same as me?

I had a scan at 12 1/2 weeks and everything was perfect but if it wasn't for that I wouldn't even know I was pregnant.

I have had no pain or bleeding which is a good sign, and i know i am probably lucky for not feeling sick and tired but just wondering if anyone else feels the same or it's just me?

Any help would be appreciated to put my mind at rest..

Thanks xxx
Xx

I had a similar experience, but after spending most of the first trimester worrying about things, I decided to just chill out!! I also have an anterior placenta, so I haven't felt much movement yet. Just to forewarn you, myself and a few others on here also felt that our bumps shrunk slightly around 17-19 weeks - that soon changed though!

But I had my 20 week scan today and everything is still going really well. I'm sure it's the same for you - relax and enjoy this time before you start getting really big and uncomfortable!! I tried to focus on making a decent start on the nursery (but then got a horrible cold which has laid me low for the last week now!)...

Good luck with it all - I'm sure you'll start feeling movement soon and then you'll feel much better!

I experienced this too I think most of us have when you hit the bit between sickness and the feeling kicks/having a bump its normal and I'm sure everythings fine. My doppler got me through that bit, have you thought about investing in one of them? X

I was exactly the same as you from about 11 weeks up until about 18 weeks. All my symptoms started to vanish at about 10-11 weeks, the sore boobs went, the sickness went, so did the tiredness. I remember my husband asking me if I felt pregnant and I honestly didn't then. Then from about 16-17 weeks, I started feeling slight popping feelings which I think looking back were the first movements, but then by 18 weeks, I was feeling stronger kicks. That's when I started feeling a bit more pregnant then - but literally only because of my growing tummy and the movement.

Now and for the past week or so, the tiredness has come back and now the movements are so frequent, I feel very pregnant. So it's completely normal. I thhink that's why they call the second trimester the honeymoon period because most people's symptons ease up.

Completely normal so don't worry at all x

Thanks for your replies everyone made me feel better!

Babydust1990 I think that's the reason I got a bit panicky because i borrowed a doppler off my friend yesterday but she forgot to give me the gel with it and I can't hear a heartbeat without it, she is bringing the gel for me tomorrow so should feel better once I hear the heartbeat.

Thanks again xx

I felt like that too (I am 15 weeks). What I do is lay flat on my stomach and Ill feel my uterus, feels like a tennis ball below my belly button. This reminds me that I am pregnant

You can use aloe vera instead of the gel that comes with it, or even lotions and things but I'm not exactly sure which kinds- some lotions might mess up the doppler with frequent use, but I know aloe vera is safe, it's what I use for mine. You should look up online what to use instead of the gel that comes with it and see what you have at home so you can try it sooner and you don't have to wait til tomorrow.

I was the same at 15 weeks, until my belly popped out and movement started. I still get sick here and there but it's much more rare than it used to be, only if eat something that doesn't settle. I think the wealth of information on BNB and Dr. Google has made all of us such worriers. My baby moves throughout the day but I still use my doppler every day for about 5-10 seconds.
