Pain in my lower abdomen:(

Im not sure if this is normal (I am making a list to ask my doctor) but since yesterday I have started to get pain in my lower abdomen or pelvic bone, like someone is pulling it apart. It really only happens if I have been sitting with my legs crossed or if I have been laying in a certain position for a long period of time. And when I do get up I feel like I am waddling has anyone had this happen to them this early?

I've had lots of pains since day one so have researched every pain alot! It sounds like it could be SPD? Have a look at this site about SPD and see if your symptoms are the same , my friend had this with all three pregnancies and it started earlier with each one. Im
No expert but at least u could mention it to dr?? Good luck x http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnanc...th/pelvicpain/

There are so many pains that are "normal" during pregnancy but it's such a worry.

It could be growing pains, round ligament pain, period style cramping is 'normal', it could be a sign of SPD..... Maybe call your mw and explain what it feels like and when it happens and she should be able to reassure you.

With my first, she used to lay on my nerves a lot so I'd get awful shooting pains in my hip and down my leg when I stood up if I sat down too long so it could be something along those lines too if it's happening when you're in certain positions.

I just started getting this too--the pain happens when I've been sitting for a while, often when I'm sort of hunching over at my desk at work. Then ?i get up, and it hurts for a bit. Makes me worry I'm squishing baby. :/

Hope you're ok

I've had some stitch like pains in lower abdomen on and off for the last few weeks. I thought it was just things growing and expanding down there tho?

I have been having pains in my lower back and in my lower abdomen....it also started today. @ first mayb it was a wind bt it was not...in actual fact i am in pain as i am typing this. I have called the gynae's office, and the receptionist says its normal, as long as no blood is accompanied i dont have to worry.

I had pains in my lower abdomen almost like a throb and my mw said it sounded like my uterus was stretching which is obviously perfectly normal. I do still get it from time to time but not as bad as I did at first. My friend had this too but much more severe, she is a tiny size 6 and mw said it was her ligaments stretching and because she was such a small build they were a lot worse for her. Maybe this is what you are experiencing but if you are worried I'd get in contact with mw to be on safe side.

It feels like pressure. That’s the best way I can describe it. Like something is pushing and stretching my pelvic bone and I can feel it in my inner thighs sometimes. Only when I sit for a long period of time (especially when I sit with kind of Indian style in my chair).
