Hi All, I have another question - I'm wondering what movements I should be feeling at 22 weeks? I am smack on 22 weeks today and have felt some movements, but not consistently.
I have only started having feelings that may be the baby within the last couple of weeks. I wanted to run them past other mums to be so that I could work out whether they are the baby or just e.g muscle spasms?
A couiple of weeks ago I started feeling a tap to the bottom left of my abdoment, more or less above pelvic area, this happened when I sat down and would be in a rhythm of 'tap...pause...tap...pause...tap...and so on'
That has now progressed to swirly feelings, almost butterfly-like in exactly the same position, right down to the left! Not only when I sit down now but more so then. I thought maybe my pulse or a muscle spasm. I have had a few other movements, this morning before getting up my belly did kinda move ever so slightly - the feelings I would only get whemn using my doppler because as most babies he doesn't like it! That's really the only obvious kicks is when use the doppler, the doppler rises slightly with my hand and I can hear the movement . But I'm at week 22 with my second child and it is very much swirly slight feelings throughout the day now.
Is this defo the baby or could it be my body adjusting? Hope it is the baby cause I've been a right anxious mare!!!!!
I would guess its the baby! My little one makes odd movements and its difficult ti know whether its her or just my body but when I described the feelings to OH he said he hopes its the baby as otherwise my body is going crazy!
