Bleeding after sex

Does anyone else sometimes bleed after sex? My midwife says its normal...but when you have had a miscarriage, the sight of blood EVER is still worrisome. I never had this happen with my first, its not all the time but randomly it happens. Anyone else?

It happened all the time with my last pregnancy. Didnt occur in any of my previous 3 pregnancies, or indeed in this one. It is so scary I know, but I was told the same as you - sometimes it just happens.

Not sure what advice to offer, other than to never be afraid to call your midwife - its what they're there for hun. Hope it helps a little to know that it does happen to other ladies. Big hugs. xxxx

yeah i did once and it was bright red and very heavy but eased off after maybe 10-15 mins and i didnt have any pains so didnt phone the midwife, if it lasted ages or i was in pain then i would have. It was scary at the time but i knew it had to have been the sex as it was right after. I didnt even notice til i got off the bed and seen it lol and by the time i got to the bathroom my underwear was covered. Thankfully it hasnt happened since. Im sure its something to do with bursting blood vessels or something around the cervix xx
