i have bought only very basic newborn stuff as my last 2 were pretty big babies if this one turns out smaller then gives me an excuse to go out with new baby after hes born and get him loadsa other baby stuff :-)
all our "proper" baby clothes like our fav outfits and stuff we got them all in 0-3 :-)
i wouldnt get too many 3-6 tbh cos you dont know if lo is goingt o be big or small and also you dont know how quick they gunna weight gain so could be a differant season when they fit iykwim i bought loads of 12-18 when lo was small tp save for summer cos they were cheep in sale but they are goingt o be too small for summer they only just fit her now :-/

I've only gotten a few newborn things, my daughter was born at just under the suggested weight for those and they only fit her for maybe a week before I had to move her to 0-3 months. People bought so many newborn size outfits too, most of which she never wore. Most of what I have is 0-3 because I have no idea how fast this baby will grow and what they'll need for what season. I have a few 3-6 basic outfits but that's it.

I have stuff from 0-3 all the way to 24 months. Mostly cute basics. But if I saw a good deal I stocked up. I have no idea where I will store it for the next year but thats okay lol

Its hard to say because it all depends on the size of your baby, all our 0-3 months was too big for my 1st baby and so he worn all his newborn, but with our 2nd who was 8lbs, just 1lb bigger, we bought mainly only 0-3 months because scans had told us he would probably be quite big. I would say get mainly 0-3 months, especially in the slightly more expensive things, but also get a few newborn peices and even 1 "tiny baby" outfit, so you can pack them both in your hospital bag x

Really depends on the size of your baby. First time round I bought 0-3 months mainly and one or two things in up to 1 month. Most people bought us 3-6 months stuff thinking other people would all buy us newborn, so we actually ended up with just the one newborn set I had bought and even that was big as my LO was 6 lbs 12 oz so hubby had to run out and get early baby stuff as everything else was massive. This time I still don't know what to get because I've heard second babies are usually bigger, plus because everyone knew we had loads of 3-6 months stuff and hardly any newborn then they might do the opposite this time! So think I'm just going to get a few bits and wait until LO arrives!

My son was in new born for about 6 weeks, I didnt buy any clothes until he was 6 months (except an occasional out fit I thought was cute) but I got tons of clothes at my baby shower, and blankets too, I only got 2 things of diapers, 2 registry items and basically everything else was clothes and blankets. If you're going to have a baby shower then I wouldnt bother getting too much.

This time though I have aleady gotten 2 footed sleep and play outfits and a halloween costume I found (it was on clearence) all girly lol I dont even know the gender yet but if its another boy we have plenty other preggos in the family (4 total including me) surely one of us will have a girl. And my brother doesnt seem to know how to make boys lol so I wouldnt be surprised if they have another girl
