Stetch marks?


First timers have any of yous got stretch marks? i got my first one when i was about 24 weeks ( i cried my little heart out haha) i know most people get them but from what ive read on here people are getting them much later or just get little ones(mines are quite bad already).. im gutted to have them even though i knew it was part of pregnancy i secretly hoped i would be one of the lucky ones no such luck but on the plus side everything is GREAT with bubs x

i got them when i was on the injection, i went from a 10-12 to an 18 in 6 months... they do fade and you get used to them...and OH really doesnt care or notice (he also doesnt understand cellulite phew)

It's my first and I got my first marks at 12 weeks on boobs which havent grow that much.

At least you didn't get them til much later...

That happened to me but with the implant, i was a size 8 then went up to a 14 was totally gutted! i got loads on my thighs and boobs but like you said they do fade but im jus upset that the only place i never had them were on my belly, and now thats covered too, grr sucks my OH doesnt care either, he says he loves them because our baby made them (bless him) x

That is so sweet of your DH to say. My hubby doesn't care either way. I honestly don't think he will notice them once they fade. I haven't had any from this pregnancy yet, but I started out over weight and with extra belly.

To be honest lol im not really worried about what OH thinks about them, i just dont like it myself x

Iv had mines since i was about 12 weeks (on my legs) there bright red & horrible, i hate them hoping they disappear when baby comes lol iv only started getting some on my belly & im now nearly 30 weeks! Ohh the joys of being pregant lol xx

I had stretch marks before ever getting pregnant, on my upper legs. I got lucky with the ones on my belly, though, with my first. I didn't get any until I went to the hospital and they put the monitors on me. Then I got stretch marks where they put them.

i haven't had any stretch marks as of yet. my mum got them at about 37 weeks and she cried too. i have a feeling i'm going to take after her. i've been using shea butter on my bump and boobs twice a day to make myself feel like i'm helping :P but i know it's genetic so i'm just waiting now
