Which brand nappies?

this poll is for all you first time mums and ladies who are already mums.

would you recommend a certain nappy brand?

obviously at the end of the day it depends on what brand your LO gets on with best but i don't know which one to try first?

Not entirely sure to be honest, we've bought 3 packs of Morrisons own brand nappies so far but as you said it depends on whether or not our baby will take to them. Let the trial and error commence!

I only use huggies! I wont go for the cheapies, and the pampers I was given from the hospital and babyshower leaked so bad when my son pooped. I absolutely loved huggies little snugglers/little movers. Didnt care for the slip ons though they didnt fit my son right, snug and dry worked great but they do feel dry, little snugglers/movers are soft and get the job done right hes in huggies pull ups now, those are great too. I vote huggies 100%

My friend says that Tesco own brand are just as good as the main brands so I'm going to give those a go when my freebies run out

Huggies always seemed to leak with my boys

Pampers baby dry were always the best (Active fit also tended to leak even though they were the more expensive Pampers of the two)

But my overall winner is...Aldi Mammia Nappies been using them since number 3 and have saved a fortune!! No leaks, no nappy rash and they seem better quality than Pampers.

I think in Newborn and size 1 I will still use Pampers yellow new baby nappies as I know thye will do the trick as had no probs in the smaller stages but as this baby grows he/she will also be going in the Aldi nappies

a lot of peeps say huggies leak but i found so did pampers when dds were newborns cos they have really runny poo at that age so i think most would leak lol.

I have pampers and huggies. i got a lot of money off coupons on huggies x

I used pampers with my son as huggies irritated him when he was tiny & kinda just stuck with them until I potty trained. With this one i'll try a few different brands out and see which suits him best! My sister uses Sainsburys own and has had no problems.x

I'm just buying a few small newborn packs of each brand, like pampers, huggies, asda's, boots and aldi. I'm also buying a box of Kiddicare's Just for Bum's nappies, there £20 for a month's supply and have amazing reviews so will buy a box and see what there like.
