I'm at it again, worrying! Need advice

I am probably being really paranoid but it is starting to get to me a little. Luckily I have a MW appointment on Thursday so I will be talking this through with her then.

I am 22 and a half weeks and I can't count the number of people who have commented on my apparent 'small' bump size for 22 weeks. At first I wasn't really too bothered, especially as I only had my 20 week scan under 3 weeks ago and all measurements were fine. However my bump has barely grown since then and if I hear comments like "my sister/friend is 22 weeks at the moment and is huge/twice the size you are" one more time I think I'll scream! . Then today someone I know asked how far on I was and I replied I was 5 and a half months, to which she said "you are very small for over 5 months". I am starting to get really paranoid about it.

Another thing which is worrying me and adding to this is, I amn't feeling that many movements which I thought I would be at this stage. I am feleling occasional flutters and apart from a few what I thought was heavy kicks last week, nothing like 'proper kicking yet'. is it too early for this, or should they be starting around now?

Would appreciate any advice! Thanks

Hey, I'm going to be 22 weeks tomorrow and I've also had loads of people commenting on how small my bump is. It gets really irritating after a while doesn't it?! I'm not too worried though as I only had my anomaly scan 3 days ago and baby was doing fine, and my mum told me recently that throughout her first pregnancy people kept saying she wasn't showing much BUT my sister was born weighing 11lbs. So I wouldn't really worry too much, I'm sure everything's fine in there

griffinh, thanks, I think our bumps are pretty much the same so that gives me loads of reassurance.

Cin, thanks also for reassuring me too, it is so irritating when people say that, surely they must realise that a comment like that could make you worry. i guess people just don't think though.

tbh, if you didnt know i was pregnant, i just look like I've put abit of weight on. I'm a 16 and always had abit of a tum and I'm 20 weeks next week. Try not to worry, everyone is different and when we're all the size of houses we'll be wishing we had our tiny bumps back
