Struggling with baby clothes sizes

Hi there,

What size baby clothes should I buy? I am only buying vests and sleep suits at the moment because we are team yellow. The rest of the shopping will be done on the internet - next day delivery - the week the baby is born. So obviously then it will be easier then for buying normal clothes because I will know weight etc.

But for now.... do I get newborn? up to 1 month? or up to 3 months?

Thanks for your help ladies

xxxx

I would just get a few newborn and a few 0-3 months. I took a sleepsuit in each size with me and LO wore the newborn as he was only 7lb 2oz. I went a bit mad on neutral 0-3 month clothes then when he came along I wantee boy colours so he didnt wear alot of it.

I posted the same thread earlier lol, people told me to buy very basic things in newborn size and any other items in 0-3 month but as your buying more once bubs is here it doesnt really matter if you dont have enough as you are planing to buy later id get at least 7 vest 7 sleep suits in each size x

Another thing you need to take into account is that no2 shops sizes are the same. My son eas in newborn in mothercare but in up to 3 months in next. It really does take a while to work out what sizes to buy from differebt shops.

Hi,

I don't have much input on the clothing thing as I'm new to this too and have no idea what sizes to go for!

But I saw that you're in Exeter, too, and wanted to say hi

Kind St David's way, Opposite Fitness First. I'm kind along the canal from Mill on the Exe!

I've not seen anyone on here yet from around my neck of the woods so this is quite exciting for me hahaha x
