Is this pain normal?

The last couple of days I've been getting stabbing pains a couple of inches below my belly button. Today I was out grocery shopping and had to sit down as I was doubled over all of a sudden. It went after 10 mins. I'm lying on the sofa now and I can feel it again.
Should I go get checked out or is this normal. I've been v constipated and wonder if it is something to do with that. I'm seeing my dr on wed, maybe I should just wait till then?

I suffered with constipation with my first and I used to get doubled over in pain and literally couldn't move because of the pain of it and the pain of trapped wind.

I've had it again this time with trapped wind where it's really bad pains around my belly but if you're really worried then speak to your mw or dr and they should be able to reassure you or say if they think it needs further looking into.

I think we should all be told at our booking in appointments what's "normal" and what isn't - the stress of not knowing is probably the worst of it all!
