Braxton Hicks - is it really possible????

ladies, just a quick question about braxton hicks. How early can you get them?

Reason for asking is, im 14+2 with my 3rd, about an hour ago i was laid on the sofa and baby was moving about, can feel small movements now, felt it earlier too when I was driving!!! But after that my stomach felt wierd, when i pressed it felt hard but then it went off. There is no pain and it isn't what i'd call unconfortable, just feels strange. Its still happening now as I'm sat at the PC, do you think it could be braxton hicks im feeling?

Thanks for any input xxx

maybe or maybe just baby turning and sticking it bum out? aslong as they dont become proper contractions I wouldnt worry about it, labour will be a piece of cake if your body has started practising already lol x

Well, i got to pushing with DS but I had anterior placenta and he was big and gack to back. MW didn't know he was back to back, after an hour and half of pushing and nothing happening they decided to rush me is for intervention as his heartrate wasnt recovering well after contractions so hospital it was Think this time i have posterior placenta so if im getting BH now, with posterior placenta it really should be a breeze, DD 11 years ago was easy peasy lol...5lb13oz. She was put down as 8.5 hours for complete start to finish labour, DS was 8 3/4 hours, 8lb 1oz waters went at 10.45pm, 9cm at 5am, pulled out by ventouse at 7.30am .......

Funny huh, DD was easy and DS was a problem... You are right, boys are buggers lol xxx

My midwife wasn't even shocked. She was listening to the heart beat and I said ok what is that when a BH happened. I guess I am one of those "lucky people" who gets to feel their food digest. I usually get them when I have to pee or when baby decided to lay low. I am going to talk to her about them this week though because I seem to get at least one daily since 18+5. I assume its normal from stuff I read but still, I just need her saying its normal. lol

I'm on baby #1 and started getting BH around 14 weeks. I get them every day off and on. OB just says to keep an eye on them. It definitely is possible to get them that soon though!! Your OB/MW should tell you when you would need to go in to get them checked.. mine said if I get three in an hour then to go in.
