Have you taken more than one test or is this the first? I would test again and regardless if positive or negative, I would call your doctor and consult just to be safe. I just read online that with this surgery and positive pregnancy test, you need to be concerned about an ectopic situation. If it were me, I would be consulting a DR in the morning. I really don't want to freak you out, but with any any any even small chance of ectopic, it's worth calling the doc. I wish you the best and hope it works out in the direction you want it too. Keep us updated!!
PS: Test again to make sure it wasn't a dodgy test?
If it was negative before the surgery, it most likely isn't residual? It sounds like it's totally possible to get pregnant after the surgery, and that test is quite convincing! I would say congratulations!
