Confused about test results..

Hi, I have a question about FRER's, I took one last evening around 8:00 and a faint line showed almost immediatly, my DH even could see it. Then I woke up around 1:00 in the morning having to pee and for some reason took another FRER and it came up BFN. I'm really confused how I could get a faint positive then a negative a few hours apart? I'm 10dpo today. I have IC's and their coming up bfn, I'm wondering if I got a false positive?

It could have been hun, the best advice would be to wait til tomorrow or Saturday and take another first thing in the morning. If your only 10DPO that is still really early. Fingers Crossed x

if you got a faint line then your pregnant!!! but u prob got a bfn the second time cos ur body needs quite a few hours to produce enough hcg to show in your urine stream so relaxx take a test in the morning not after excessive drinking and ul see ur posotive again congratulations xxx

false positives are pretty rare. since you are so early its not unlikely you would get mixed results.. your pee might have been more diluted the second time you tested. test in the morning and i bet you will get another bfp!! (also expect different results with different tests because they are all dffernt sensitivities)

I took another frer yesterday and it was bfn, and all IC's are bfn too, so I assume it was either a chemical pg. again (had one last month too

) or it was false positve. Hope to have better luck next month!
