First of all, I'm prefacing this by saying I AM NOT PREGNANT! I hope everyone read that, and I don't get "CONGRATS!" posts... I'm pretty sure I would cry! LOL

I'm having an IUI tomorrow morning, and last night I took my HCG trigger shot (it sets up timed ovulation for assisted conception). I took the equivalent of 10,000mIU into my body. Now, for full disclosure... I have a sort of issue where not much of the hormone makes it into my urine. Most people with 10,000mIU of HCG in their body would produce a SUPER dark (like, way darker than the control line) 2nd line. That's not the case with me. Its not a medical problem, so much as its just how I am... It doesn't harm me and it can't be 'fixed.' But, that doesn't change the results I'm about to post.

By the time I took these tests, I probably had between 5,000-7,500mIU of HCG in me. They should be much darker than they are... but that's neither here nor there. I think you'll see what I mean!

$Tree HPT - 5 hours post trigger shot
$Tree HPT - 11 hours post trigger shot
$Tree OPK - 12 hours post trigger shot
FRER HPT - 12 hours post trigger shot

The bottom 2 were using the SAME urine sample... although I did the dropper one first so that I wouldn't taint the sample by dipping the FRER first. The one before that was taken an hour earlier but I didn't drink anything in between tests. The top 2 are photographed very dry... The bottom ones were still very new... Less than 10 minutes after taking them.



Its no wonder that FRER was about the only thing that would really pick up my past 2 pregnancies, given my issue with hormones not properly filtering into my urine. The line quality difference is RIDICULOUS! I see so many people asking which test is better... I think its clear!

Again... I'M NOT PREGNANT (yet)... So, please don't congratulate me (yet)!

Megg they are finally getting darker so the HCG must be making its way through your system...boy I can't wait to see that real BFP in a few weeks!!

I don't think they got darker... I think its the difference in brands (wishing I'd done a $Tree HPT with the same urine too... I will on Wednesday). They were taken within an hour of each other. I think its just a flaw in the $Tree tests' line strength!

I can't wait either though!

I know! I didn't expect that sort of FRER when I had such crap on $Tree tests! HUGE difference!
