Hi all, I've been lurking lots and enjoyed many threads while TTC. I already have two children (so you'd think I would know what I'm doing) but my "baby" is turning 6 next month. I took two tests fairly close together, one late last night and one early this morning. The test I took last night I layed it on the counter and walked away crying. I went back to get it after a couple more minutes... and there was a line, a very faint line, barely visible line (as in you have to hold it under certain light to even see it). I thought I was imaging it and did show it to my husband (he's a family doctor btw) and he saw it to but agreed that it was one of the faintest lines he's ever seen. I took the hospital brand Icon 25 tests. The one I took this morning is also very, very faint (might be slightly darker, maybe). The faint lines scare me! I don't know why but they do!?! I just wish it would glow in the dark, with flashing lights, and bells going off (maybe even a little confetti thrown into the air)!  I'm worried about early miscarriage and chemical pregnancy.My period has been pretty regular as of late (27/28 day cycle) and even if I didn't start on the exact day I had spotting so I knew AF was coming. My period would have been due yesterday or the day before. This month I haven't really felt anything... if anything my only symptom is lack of symptoms. Every other month I just about drove myself crazy looking for symptoms.  Has anyone else ever had super faint lines on the day of (or the day after) their AF was due? I thought by the time your period was due there would be a good level of hcg!?! I worry if this is a normal pregnancy... or if I'm pregnant at all!?!  |

Can you try to post a couple pics of the tests? Lots of times your 'faint line' may be a line we think is super obvious!! Lol. And, the darkness of the line doesn't really matter, only that it gets darker every 48 hrs!! Congrats  |

You could have just ovulated later than you thought, hence the faint line. Try again with flu and post them so we can see if you want. good luck!

Thanks for the replys! I do have two pictures... I don't think you can reallly see the line in the pictures... or maybe you can't see them in real life either!?! I will try and post them when I get a second.Honestly, I have no idea when I ovulated. I just figure out my fertile window by looking at my cycle. We BD often and hope that we catch it at the right time. I guess I just expected darker lines at around the same time dear AF is due. I'll probably take another test tomorrow morning b/c I'm addicted to POAS (is there a support group for that? )!

Yeah, I need to join that support group ASAP!  Ok, here's the pics (they're not that good and I'm not even sure if you'll be able to see the lines I'm seeing)! Please tell me I'm not losing it! One taken Fri. night (really bad lighting)...  [/IMG]One taken this Sat. morning (FMU)...  [/IMG]
