Early positive?

Never seen this before on HPT. Period would be due today if I had a normal cycle (ever since getting off BCP in June I've had unpredictable cycles, used to be 28 days like clockwork).

The line showed up in a couple minutes, now that I am typing this it's a little more darker, but still thin. Hubby even notices something there.

What do you think? I've never had an indent line, not sure what that looks like. The bottom test is an OPK!

Hi hun,

This sounds awful but because the two tests look wet and are touching I wouldn't trust the pregnancy one. It looks a bit like the dye has run from the OPK on to the HCG one which I think it quite a common thing.

I would just do another HCG one on its own and if the line comes up the same I would say congrats and you're pregnant!

Thanks for the reply! I hope that's not it completely. They weren't touching before I noticed the line - I just put them together to show my hubby where a line would be if it was positive and for the picture!

I'll hold my wee and take another one later. I am so scared!

Oh bless you, didn't mean to scare you! If the line was there before they went near each other then I think congrats are in order :-)

Do another one just to check and then I would recommend a better test to confirm - a lot of people recommend First Response Early Result tests as they are very sensitive so you should get a nice line on one.

Good luck but by the sounds of it you don't need it! xxxx

Thanks girls, I am guessing something DID happen because I tested again just now and it is negative (couldn't wait!!). I am so crushed. I was careless with them since I am used to them always being negative, maybe they did touch without me realizing while walking thru the house with them. They weren't touching for most of the time I recall, but they were touching while showing hubby the line/taking a pic.

Must just be OPK dye.

oh hope not just b/c they were touching .....I had the same exact thing this am......super dark OPK and faint hpt.......fingers crossed ...i was so hopefule until i read posts about them touching I did not even think of that:/

I feel horrible, I've been reading about OPK/HPT touching and it is probably what happened I am guessing... though I am positive I didn't let them touch until I took the pic. Will test in the morning with a first response and not even do OPK.
