When shall i test?

Hello, i'm new to this so no idea what any of the letters everyones writing stands for, haha.

I thought i'd ask on here when should i take a pregnancy test...

I've done some research but want peoples opinions

The first day of my last period was the 3rd of this month, me and my partner had unprotected sex on the 11th, twice. and again on the 14th. I went on a website which told me when i'm most fertile and it said from the 14th-19th.

so is it worth taking a test and when shall i? i hate the waiting game!

well if your fertile days are now.. then I would wait 2 weeks.. (Nightmare I know)

test from day of missed period is the best way to do it? if your period was on the 3rd march i would wait until at least 3rd april before testing even after you are fertile it takes time for the egg to be fertilised and the travel implant and produce enough hcg (pregnancy hormone) to be picked up

yeah i am new! i cant stop looking at these forums and on baby websites, slightly obessed i think? haha i bought 3 tests monday so i've got a few incase i stupidly take one too early cause im so impatient haha im lauren

i used to think you could have unprotected sex, then the next day do a test haha. i bought 3 tests, they say i can test up to 6 days before period so i might do one then, then one a week later, then if i dont come on ill do one then

The thing is, only a small percentage of women show so early, that's the problem of testing so early good luck XXXX

i got a very very faint

with this baby at about 11-12dpo roughly we think but my beta was only 27 lol

lauwallis - do you have normal cycles? Are they 28 days? 30 days? I also wouldn't trust the "fertile" days calculator. The best way to tell is with ovulation predictor kit tests. They will pinpoint the surge of the LH (hormone) with shows that ovulation will occur in the next 12-36 hours.

That being said. I start testing very early, with internet cheapy tests. What test brand did you buy? For you, I would probably wait it out until the day of your missed period. But I'd also say to keep on BDing (baby dancing)! I have a 31-33 days cycle and I do not ovulate until CD17-19. And you'd be on CD19 now (CD = cycle day).
