hey

i noticed a lot of people (including myself ) getting a lot of evap lines on pregnancy tests and thought an evap thread may help people compare! i always hunted the internet for stories or pictures of evaps to see if i had my BFP or not yet and a thread on here would have been helpful ( i think )

here's what i know about evaps from personal .. pink dye tests evap's, not as comman but do happen, to much pee on the stick seems to help evap's come out, after the time limit comes up evaps happen lots! blue dye tests dont reall need a reason to evap, they just do, lots, usually the blue dye evaps are thinner lines and off center, IC's for me dont get as many evap lines, when they did it was hard to tell if it was a line or a dent! any test can get an evap from FRER to clearblue to IC, but blue dye lines happen more!

how i figured out it was a bfp instead of an evap was the pink line was as thick as the control line, was very faint but seems it was the thickness of the line rather than the shade of it that turned out to be more reliable!

this is my take on evaps, feel free to upload any evaps you have had and add in any info or experiances you have had with these evil lines

Stalking. I wish I took a photo of mine on my clearblue. It looked just like that though.

Some are tweaked to enhance the color/pic quality...So best to probably not "tweak" either...You'll notice that the last pic--I was actually "stoked" about the possibility of actually having a positive...I started on progesterone on March 8th..AF came with spotting on March 16th (even though the last pic was taken on that day), and full force on the 17th... Still here too...

I hate evaps...And I hate that since TTC I've lost that "innocent" feeling I had when I tested positive with my other 2 viable pregnancies...

Yes, you can pretty convincing lines on pink dye too..These are obviously evaps because when I went for my "1st" prenatal--their blood and urine was negative--I was supposed to be 11 weeks...It took going on the Provera to bring on a much needed period.
