I see that your ticker says 6w5d so yes, if that's accurate, they should see something. If you're not as far along as you thought, then maybe not. I saw my son at 5w5d, heartbeat and all.

I agree, pain with bleeding and rising HCG could be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. You need to be checked out to make sure you are okay. Can you go to the ER? I hope you can get in with our dr though and have an ultrasound and bloods. I hope everything turns out okay! FX for you!

I had an ectopic pregnancy so i would say you really need to get this checked out. A symptom of ectopic is fluctuating HCG so it would be poss to still get a + hpt.

Ectopics can end in tragedy if they are not seen to. I really hope its not but its better to be safe that sorry. If it is ectopic the longer it goes without treatment the more damage it will do to your body.

Praying all is ok and blowing LOTS of sticky baby dust hun.

I suggest u run to the ER now. My sis in law went thrum the same and she ignored it and ended up miscarrying twins. Anything that ever worries u should be seen in case. Make sure the baby is ok. The sooner the better.

I ended up going to the ER here is the gist

1. My cervix was still tightly closed. there was bleeding and clots - but not severe - although the pain was an 8/10

2. the ovum or blastocyst or whatever the little critter is is only 3mm wide at this point which means one of 2 things

3. my HCG was only 800 (I think)

so either it is a blighted ovum

or I am not as far along as we thought - which is VERY possible given my wacked out cycles. It is possible that I implanted on last sat/sun/mon and that this spotting (which is honestly when my period would be) is a "period" / residual bleeding

they couldnt tell if it was ectopic due to how small it is yet

I go back in 48 hrs for another HCG
