Am I still pregnant sad final update pg 9

I took a preggo test last week to the day and it was faintish but def positive

I was tickled - but then I started bleeding - and then cramping badly - and then bleeding more and cramping even more - I figured I was having a miscarriage.... So I POAS today to see if it was lighter and it was MUCH darker.....

Is it possible I am NOT having a miscarriage?
If so why the severe pain.

I took a 3 lortabs in the last 24hrs as I was in SUCH pain, yesterday esp. I hope if I am possibly still preggo I didnt do any damage.
I guess I will go in for an ultrasound tomorrow?

here is a comparison between this week, and last week, (the lighter one)

it is not unheard of to have bleeding and cramping and still be pregnant. Thos symptoms are associated with miscarriage but that's not always the case. There is a chance of miscarrying one sac in the event of twins. Have you done research concerning the topic? I think you'd be surprised to read some of the stories. You' should make an appt with your doc to check levels. Good Luck to you!

I am doing some reading now, but I though B&B might be a great place to start .

I dont want to get my hopes up, I was so crushed yesterday (and today but yesterday was really bad)

Well both tests are positive, I think you should go ahead and have an Ultrasound

I think they only way to know is to get an u/s (if you're far enough along) and/or get blood work done tomorrow and then in a couple days to see if the numbers are going up or down. I had a chemical pregnancy in February and I still had positive tests after I started bleeding, although mine were much much much lighter than yours. I hope yours is a fluke and your bean is still there!

There are a few reasons why you could bleed and still get a positive hpt. Hopings its a positive outcome for you, but if you have had such "severe" pain, blood and a positive hpt I really think you should go to the doctors as soon as possible. I don't want to scare you but if you were having an ectopic pregnancy you should be going immediately to have it checked out as it could kill you Fingers crossed its nothing like that, but please, don't just rely on information off the Internet, please please go to the doctor XXXX

Yes at 6 weeks you should be able to see something in an ultrasound and perhaps even a heart beat ! praying that everything is ok !!! I had bleeding and cramping with my first pregnancy and everything was ok !

this has crossed my mind. It was worse than regular period pains - like if I had a REALLY bad period - they were 2-3 minutes apart yesterday, though today I am not feeling as badly.

I have not been wanting to go to the dr as I have no insurance - I was waiting for it to kick in :/

The nurse gave me some signs and symptoms to go to the ER no matter what my insurance situation is.

fever, heavy bleeding, SEVERE pain. I would say it was quite bad, but not so severe I felt like I was dying. I think it "hurt more" than usual due to emotional stress on top of it, if that makes sense
