Tommee Tippee Microwave Sterilizer..

I'm just wondering, do I need to put the sterilizing tablets into the sterilizer when sterilizing bottles? I know with cold water ones you need to but not sure about microwave ones, I've read the instructions and it don't say anything about tablets.

My hubby didn't let me buy it, he didn't like the idea of nuking those bottles.

I googled, it looks like hot water and soap will do just fine.

I wanted a sterilizer so bad before my adopted son got here... Unfortunately, no baby shower, didn't have enough money to splurge on it... I boiled bottles in a pot of water on the stove once before he drank from them for the first time. After that, I've just washed with soap and hot water. He's been healthy the whole 5 months of his existance!
