41 weeks, no dilation, posterior baby, cervix behind head...

so looks like I am going to be pregnant forever...or I am going to kill myself. Went for a NST and baby seems fine but still hasn't turned, is posterior and is never coming out...

I am so nervous I will have to be induced and go through all of that just to have a fucking c-section in the end...

I think I have finally broken. It is just so unfair. I have been puking for the last 36 weeks and have had IVs set at home and hospital visits...I deserve to have some part of this be smooth...

just so over it.

Sorry...I know I am having a huge pity party...it's just not at all what I had expected this late in the game...

Hope all of you other ladies are feeling well, contracting, and having wonderful deliveries...xoxo...

I was induced at 41+5 with my daughter. She was born within 4 hours of being induced. She was back to back too.

Try to stay positive. I know it's hard though. This baby is in the same position my daughter was so I'm pretty sure I'm looking at another 2 week late and induced baby x

(everything went pretty fast after they pulled my cervix forward)

Try not to let it get you down hun. I know its no fun. My bubs is half and half (they cant tell if still posterior or not as he was but they think he has turned slightly to the side), no dilation, cervix high and closed so they couldnt do a sweep and im due to be induced on monday.

Just try and not let it get to you if you can. FX that something happens to bring baby on before you need to be induced.

Well, I'm not as far along as you are, but definitely getting frustrated. I wanted my Dr to do a sweep today but she couldn't because I am barely 1cm dilated. My cervix is high and far back too. Baby is also still posterior, although everyone keeps telling me that they will most likely turn just before or during labor. Everyone keeps saying that because it's my 2nd, that everything will happen fast... but seeing no signs or symptoms is very frustrating! And they will want to induce me if I go more than a few days past my due date, because of my GD... and I am REALLY trying to avoid it, like you...

Have you tried any natural induction methods or anything?

Thanks so much for all of your responses...I am so defeated at this point...I never thought I would go 41 weeks...and now it definitely looks like I'm going 42...yikes...

As for natural methods, we have tried it all except sex because OH feels weird about it and I am not going to make him. LOL. Besides my midwife said those things can be helpful but what is going to put me into labor is just that...labor. She said I could bounce on a ball all day long, but if baby isn't ready then baby isn't ready.

However she did say that if the baby does switch positions then things may move along faster. With all of the contractions I am having (which are getting me nowhere) we know my body is trying...it's just the baby's position that is holding things up. I plan on turning my loveseat around and staying on my knees and leaning forward on it for gravity's sake and OH, LO, and I are going to head to the pool and I am going to do some head stands and float with my back up and belly down and see if that helps.

I think my real concern is that if my baby is so big will she even be able to turn and then will I have to be induced and pumped full of synthetic drugs just to have a c-section. I don't want to get pumped full of crap if there's no reason for it...and I have also heard posterior birth use forceps and I DO NOT want that...

I just thought the second one would go smoother...

I hope all of us have some babies that give us a break and let us have easy as a time as possible!
