I'm hoping so, coz I have a few jackets that won't fit on not even over my back like u said. I've brought some really cheap cardigans and very cheap extra large normal non maternity jackets to help out. maybe u could do that? at least u will be able to wear non maternity nes for a bit longer afterwards.or borrow mens hoodies? Which are really comfy. actually I just remembered ur ribs do expand a bit, I've found that out in a baby book I have.
I haven't really noticed my body expanding except for my stomach...but my clothes beg to differ. Baggy tops are not only hanging differently round the abdomen (obviously!) but they rest much higher up on my chest as it has expanded so much- not just my boobs but the whole thing! It seems really obvious that it would happen but I just never considered it and I've been really surprised.
(Plus, don't get me started on my thighs...I tried to put a pair of jeans on thinking I'll just wear them unbuttoned round the house for a bit (as I was still carrying high) and I couldn't even get them past my knees...)
